This book is a collection of articles on leadership and management originally published in Exchange Magazine. Although its focus is on leadership, the book provides a wide range of articles from formal and informal research, practical strategies, to articles that give you the opportunity to self-reflect. The articles speak both from the perspective of directors, supervisors and teaching teams. It covers what it takes to be a great leader and why one would choose to take on a leadership role. The articles also touch on the direction we still need to go in the leadership world, especially in early childhood education. This book was definitely an interesting read and I really appreciated the fact that the collection of articles gives a variety of perspectives on leadership and the ECE community.
