Why did you choose this field?
Having been an educator and program director supported by CISS Resource Consultants, I knew that my passion for Inclusion went beyond providing it in my program. I wanted to provide every child with the opportunity to belong.

What’s your favourite part of the job?
Being on the floor consulting with educators and engaging with the children.

Do you have children of your own?
Yes, I have a 19 year old daughter and a 14 year old son.

What does inclusion mean to you?
Inclusion means every child belongs, every child exists, every child is given the opportunity to be successful and every child is seen as a child first.

What is your biggest challenge?
Understanding that not everyone sees inclusion as clearly as I do.

What is your favourite color and why?
Red – It makes me happy.

Do you have a pet?
Yes, a 10 year old miniature schnauzer named Harley.  He is my third child.
